A sunny day made for a perfect backdrop for over 50 junior cyclists who came out to practice, learn bicycle skills and rules of the road.
Many thanks to Woody, Rob S., Grisdale Enterprises, the Jerome family, The Day family and the Optimists who made this event so successful.
The 2017 spring clean up is in the books! Many thanks to Alex Martin for doing all the pre-event preparations. We had over 60 people attend and thanks to perfect weather we almost filled a large dumpster with trash. The largest item was a complete bed frame picked by the Flosman gang! Our little town has been tidied up nicely as spring and the thousands of tourists get ready to arrive.
Thank you to our commercial friends who also make this event possible including Efcom Ltd, Grisdale Enterprises and Greensville Grocery who supplied the ice this year.
Once again another successful event, please consider joining us next year.
New and old members pulled together to bring in the holiday season with another Santa’s breakfast. Special thanks to Nick, Dave who came in 2 hours early!
Club founding member Bill making the best pancakes in town.
Dave and Dave hard at work.
The Optimists were happy to attend the first annual Greensville School Hoedown. Lots of young cowgirls and cowboys enjoyed an evening of music, dancing and fun thanks to the home and school association and Optimists Mert, Woody, Dave, Gord, Brian and Derek. Congratulations to all the volunteers!
Despite unpredictable weather George Flosman and his crew pulled off another successful Picnic! If you have never been put it on your calendar for next year and come join us for Canada’s 150th.

One of the most popular activities the club hosts each year. Held at Christ Church on HWY 8 in early December it kicks off with the arrival of Santa on fire truck. We serve an excellent breakfast of sausage, eggs and pancakes. The children get to meet Santa and have their photo taken with him. Don’t forget a wish list!
